Re: Anyone has the Abu Garcia Fantasista Med light

I've had one for a couple of years. I mainly use it for light Texas rigged worms or light jigs. I consider it more of a power BFS rod (light tip to more of a medium power backbone). It has a great tip for bottom fishing. It's got a true JDM backbone, where the rod flexes further down to it's butt, ...

The trigger is too far "forward" for me either way. I had to sell my one Rebellion rod for that reason.
is that it?? i have a 6'10 mh reg rebellion, and love the blank but something with seat doesn't work for me either. my fingers end up getting crunched together

Re: Check out this killer finesse jig!

Also there not a person or a jig company out there that will ever take this jig too the next level it's already been done by me. And that's a fact. If you want to learn from somebody that been doing this a very long time. This type of jig pattern can be made on alot of type of jig heads from 1/64 o...

Re: $50 L powered (BFS?) rods?

i just got pissed and slung it in the lake  the positive part of the day was finding out the shallow spool i got for a revo alx will cast 1/8oz extremely well. i put it on a ml carbonlite and continued on. i added more weights to the alx side plate, and it seemed to help a little. it's still no...

Re: $50 L powered (BFS?) rods?

i tried the ul/l powered sea knight falcon, and it didn't make it thru the 1st fish. snapped at the joint on the l powered top section. i was using an 1/8oz crappie jig with 4# mono. i've got a 6'4 l daiwa blazon on order from asian portal. i ordered it for my wife, i want the 6'8 version for me. ho...

Re: 2021 daiwa blazon rod

i probably wont throw anything less than 1/8oz, but it's good to know it will handle 1/16oz.

i haven't crappie fished since i was a kid, but have kinda got back into it in the past year. i'm using (or trying to) casting gear, so it's not really much different than bass fishing.

Re: Need help Abu Garcia Revo ALX magnet.

You already got the PMed, but I wanna post a little info here. You might not need more magnet if you don’t have problem as of right now. I did have some problem control the spool when casting light lure and I learned that adding magnet or switch magnet field might help. There are some info on LTX B...

Re: Need help Abu Garcia Revo ALX magnet.

Not really, I can cast 1/16oz jig with crappie plastic just fine. I haven’t try anything lower. 22CFA039-7B8C-4B51-9C92-B2A0E76D55C7.jpeg sorry to bump an old thread, but i was messing with an alx this morning. i noticed you have twice as many magnets as i have in the ones i have. how much does it ...

Re: BFS going mainstream? Curado BFS

Just for perspective, did a quick search and the first mention of BFS on TT here, was in 2011: http://www.tackletour.net/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=30688 10 years to mainstream? :-k It may not have been referred to as "Bait Finesse" at the time, but our first review of a finesse tuned bait casting reel w...

Re: 2021 daiwa blazon rod

i've been looking at the 6'8 l online, and really thinking about ordering 1. i wish daiwa usa would make some of the bfs rods available so that shipping wasn't as much.
