Re: Megabass 2022 USDM P5 models ?!?

i love my flyssa, and always wanted a second, hope that they do actually come out with it next year! i have a baby plugging, and like it too, but its not a flyssa! might have to look into the addermine as well! i wish they would come out with something like the X7 Powerhouse, i always wanted that ro...

Just spooled up some #1(13lb) defier d braid on my luvias airity. Will report back here once I get some experience with it on the water.
i put the same on my 2505 '15 exist, love the looks and feel of it but wont be able to get any testing until probably april, still 20" of ice here!

Re: Daysprout DSLT-2000SS

The body looks very similar which makes me think it’s just a low inertia Luvias LT. For the money I think that the Airity is a better bet. Not low inertia but basically an exist with one less bearing. Anybody ever try the steez type 1? It’s supposedly a light bass reel with no magseal and light ine...

Re: Morning Dawn Color

bait plastics is what i use, and its good stuff. super soft will work for drop shot baits but it will not be durable at all, i use 242, a medium blend, for almost everything. i think they offer a sample pack with a few different plastisol blends in it, might be worth trying something like that to f...

Re: 2021 steez ags rods

So tempted to pick up a 7'6MML to pair with my luvias airity and use for trophy trout fishing the white river and taneycomo and for smallmouth. Hard to justify when I already have a Megabass Orochi XX ronin and a NRX 852s. Someone talk me out of it. I also feel the need to compare a high end daiwa ...

Re: Morning Dawn Color

morning dawn has a few variants out there, some more purple than others, some more blue. a good place to start is lureworks cerise (pink with a little blue highlight already in it) and a sky blue mica powder for the belly (bait plastics has one, several available on ebay). you can also use a hot pin...

Re: Sunline Defier D Braid

Has anyone used this line? I ordered a spool of 9 lb for my hair jig rod. The line looks promising for this technique because of the core to prevent wind knots. I'm usually not a line snob and use 832, but this is a technique where casting distance is essential. I have Smackdown on the rod now and ...

Does the certate 2500 feel pretty heavy ?
not imo, the 2500 certate feels light. its not as light as a luvias airity (obviously) but doesnt feel like a tank (weight wise) like older certates. i have several of the 2010 and 2013 certates in the 2000 size and the LT 2500 feels lighter.

Looks like daiwa is coming out with a new JDM presso reel soon. Anyone else see this? Thoughts? Was planning on picking up a cardiff c14 or luvias airity FC but may wait for this, falls right between the 2 price wise. i have been looking at the presso as well, i bought a luvias airity last winter a...

Re: Recommend a new finesse spinning rod

i just got my 761 steez ags (7'6" mml) and just playing in the basement i think its going to be an awesome rod, weighs 3.5oz and with a 2017 steez type 2 (2500 size) total combo weight was 9.9oz, crazy light for a 7'6" rod imo. i dont know when ill get it out on the water but i cant wait to try it f...

Re: Shimano vanford vs vanquish vs twinpower vs daiwa luvias airity

if you already have (and like?) the certates you will love the luvias airity. i have 3 certate lt (2 2500-xh and a JDM 2500s) and they are amazing reels, smooth, light everything i want in a spinning reel! this past winter i got a luvias airity and its like a certate but even lighter, as soon as i f...
