Re: Arms super Leggera Limited

$900 is cheap.. i'm paying over 1k for mine.. And give 0 F's about it... as i told Ryan (Teal)... YOLO. If i have enough Pop-x's to sell to make enough money to buy an ARMS rod, then I have issues as it is lol... is that the reason why we all joined TT in the first place?! :-k I am excited to get m...

Cleaning rod cork?

What do you use to clean the rod cork? How often do you apply U40?

Re: Some new hardware and loves of my life

Awesome! =D>

No doubt, some of my best fishing days have been watching my two boys catch fish! Looks like you have some fishing partners for life.

Nice rods, too.

Sweet topwater action... =D> =D>

Was that a shower blows on the X7 Elseil?

Man, that water is gin clear compared to where I fish.

Nice video.

Re: Too many rods ! .... the answer

My wife came out to talk to me while I was getting ready to go out a couple of weeks ago. She looked at the 12 rigs on the deck and then the 15 leaning against the wall and said something about not needing that many. She then said I must have spent at least $50 on each of them, doing that math in h...

Re: Jackall soft plastics any good for dropshot ?

The crosstail shad is my absolute favorite dropshot lure; purple winnie or ayu are my goto colors. I suggest NOT getting the super crosstail shad or the clone fry. Although they're more realistic looking, I have gotten skunked with them consistently. Fishing them back to back with the regular/plain...

Re: What are the must buys from the Megabass; P3, X7 & C40 l

For the lighter side I LOVE the X7 Super Eiger. I fish 1/4 oz jigs on it regularly and it does great. It is softer than some would like I'm sure but has alot of reserve power. Its the most sensitive rod I own without question and very versitle. I can throw bottom contact from 1/8 oz drop shot to 3/...

Re: Best NRX, Megabass or Evergreen Rod for Top Waters

Any recommendation for Pop X color ? My favorite is the Black Bug color--really more of a personal preference. I think that a shad colored bait (like the black bug) and one of the translucent type colors (phantom), a gill one or the bass colors will work just about anywhere. In addition to the bait...

Re: Best NRX, Megabass or Evergreen Rod for Top Waters

Sounds like a battle royal between the C40 Evoluzion Elseil vs the Evergreen Super Cougar. I have the latter but I haven't managed to catch a fish on it yet. I've switched between the Megabass S Crank, Vision 110 Jr and Lobina Lures Rio Rico but no luck as of yet. I'm trying the Lucky Craft Sammy n...

Re: Best NRX, Megabass or Evergreen Rod for Top Waters

Who knows what that fella is on about. So what is the ultimate Rod for top waters ? Depends on the size of the lure. For 1/4 to 3/4 oz, you'd be hard pressed to top the C40 Evoluzion Elseil in the Megabass line. I like the Destruction for larger lures or the Super Red Demon. If there is a better on...

Re: Looking for a 1/4oz-5/8ish cranking rod

You need to check out the F4-611X7 Super Eleil, also. I certainly am (see original post again) and now I think I have narrowed it down between the Super Elseil and the Cyclone Advantage. They both seems like great rods. Decisions Decisions..... The correct answer is obviously both.  :mrg...

Re: What are the must buys from the Megabass; P3, X7 & C40 l

I just bought the Diablo Fast Move and Extreme Mission. I think there is still room in the stable for an Evegreen Super Stallion or MB Mephisto ;) Now I need to figure out what reel would best go with the MB Diablo Fast Move and MB Extreme Mission. I'm thinking a Metainium for the MB Fast Move and ...
