You and the others that have not sent to me yet may want to wait till Monday to see who wins this one. We may just be even. However, the two other times I won, Splash won the following tournament.smitty wrote:Kbooker, i got your plastics ready just haven't gotten to the post office yet

It is pretty cool. I stick to my one addiction otherwise I would be spending money on Flashlights, Knives and Clocks.

I am a little concerned about theft. But a friend of mine has had one for years and nobody has messed with it. So we will see what happens. There were some other choices too. I got mine at BPS but I saw Cabela's had more selections: http://cabelas.com/cabelas/en/content/Item/61/61/93/i616193sn02.jpg

Re: Any cheap popper options comparable to the Rico popper?
The Pop-R is the standard in this bait category. I have tried many different high price ones. Still the Pop-R makes a better bloop sound. The only thing I do different is repalce the tail feathers and put a red hook on the belly. I like a longer feather on the back end.

Re: big bass techniques
I caught one that went almost 6 lbs last week. While he was riding in my live-well he caughed up a bluegill that was about the size of my palm and the tail had already been digested. Why eat a shad when you can eat a Bluegill?

Re: Minn Kota Engine Mount Trolling Motor
It mounts on the cavatation plate of my big motor. Steering a Jon Boat would be the big task. Mine is 80# thrust with variable speed.
I was running it in the marina and people thought my big engine was real quiet.

Re: Minn Kota Engine Mount Trolling Motor
I ended up getting one of these off eBay. It was the Saltwater version but I got a great discount. I have had it out twice now and like it a lot. I may have lost a little hole shot but not much. It rides completely out of the water so no reduction in speed. I wanted it for hunting bass on flats and ...

Re: Mail Call
I was thinking I should take it out on my boat and pull it out of the water and shake it around while doing a tournament.
