Re: Issues with Tackle Warehouse
Speaking of TW didn't want to start a new thread... I've been steadily building a wish list and was planning on buy it during their next sale. Looks like labor day may be the day. I noticed several of the items are normally exempt. I was wondering if you call will they apply the discount to the ent...

Re: Good jerkbait that’s better than a 110 or pointer?
I've caught TONS of fish on rapalas shad rap deep. Here in AZ we have lots of bluff walls, and the bass will chill on the natural ledges that form. I've caught them year round. That being said I still throw visions, they're just pricey! I'm actually looking forward to trying out 13 fishings new jerk...

Re: New Tatula Elite Reel
Trying to get an idea of how these compare size wise to current daiwa reels. I have 2 steez as, are these roughly the same size?

Has anyone used Am Tackle Spin Seats?
Has anyone used any of the new american tackle spinning seats? Specifically this one? https://www.mudhole.com/assets/images/products/American-Tackle-WAVE-G2-Graphite-Reel-Seat_0-1.jpg?resizeid=7&resizeh=500&resizew=670 I'm used to using direct to blank reel seats. This one looks like you need to use...

Re: Shimano Citica,SLX or Casitas?
Thanks for all the great advice...ive decided on the slx reel I wanted to order the 7ft MH fast slx rod to match but my country only brings in the 7'2 MH X-fast model I suspect the x fast action may be too much for a beginner Not sure if they'll ship to you, or even if they'll have this available a...

Re: Shimano Citica,SLX or Casitas?
My casitas MGL is probably the best casting reel I own.
That said I've been fishing quite a bit with my SLX and SLX DC lately and this platform is incredible. Saving some pennies to add an XT and possibly the MGL version as well.

Ever try a hair jig? Throw it out, let it sink. Reel 5 or 6 times quickly to get it to 'hop' off the bottom and fall. Thank me after :-)

Are you allowed to publish any preliminary ballpark weights? Curious what these weigh.

Re: ICAST 2019
A little curious about the fuse.
It's a carbon reel seat 'fused' directly to the blank? And the reel seat and the blank are made of the same carbon material? Can you post any weights? How much sensitivity (obviously subjective) do you think you increase by not using adhesive?

Re: North Fork Composites
Finally fished my SJ736 (still gotta put the mb736 together). I have to say these blanks are awesome. I'd put them up there with most other high end blanks. I get that crappy customer service, but at the price these can be had on sale they're no brainers IMO.

Re: New Tatula Elite Reel
Hm, they're saying its a lighter spool than the normal 100, but not SV. And the P/F version seems to be shallower and ported so I'm assuming it's lighter still? The Tatula Elite P/F spool shows 15g on the pre-release literature. The Tatula Elite Long Cast shows 14g. Another important note about the...
