It appears so, but fwiw the better blank, titanium framed guides and the few extra glamor pieces make it more like a reincarnated msx than than a days series rod.BARRAMANIAC wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 2:20 pmseems that the prices have doubled from the existing Days series

Re: Honest opinions...is BFS really worth trying?
I will agree wholeheartedly that bfs is an addiction within an addiction and to get a taste of it you need to do it correctly. The rod is just as important as the reel with bfs. A true bfs reel with a rod that can't load with the light lures will just end up with you in frustration and saying "I don...

Re: Major Craft Days 360
I've been emailing Koichiro Hamano who is their overseas product manager for quite a while on when they were going to bring out an updated higher end bass rod. Seems this has been a long development process, he told me last year they were most likely planning on using their 5g blank for the new line...

Re: Bfs bait caster recommendation
Most daiwa sv spools can already cast that range of lures with the right rod. I like the 30mm ct spool reels for "power bfs" or if you have a 34mm spool daiwa and can find a zpi m spool they are rockets. There's also a lot of rays and other spool options available for daiwa reels that can make for a...

Re: JDM Calcutta Conquest for Finesse - The Calcutta Conquest BFS
I've been using the 8.9 ratio aldebaran pretty regularly since they came out (right hand) and the gears have stayed out of the box butter smooth so far. I would only imagine putting them in a conquest frame and having absolutely no flex would only enhance longevity.

Re: Favorite BFS rods and/or blanks?
I do a lot of the same type fishing that you do and I've had quite a few rods tested in the smaller wade river environment. I've run rods from 6' 1" up to 7'2" in length and have powers from UL trout blank up to a ML St. Croix. I agree the ML St. Croix blank (6'10" ML Legend tournament) is not what ...

Re: The Highest Example – The Edge Epitome Rods from Gary Loomis
Got mine in last week, used it a couple times so far. Weighs 2.93oz on my scale so super light for a 7'2" MH. Balance point with a 6oz alphas is about a 1/2" in front of the lock nut. While subjective, it's a very sensitive rod, I've ditched using t-rigs to test sensitivity and now use weightless se...

Re: New Luvias vs Certate
The Kage MQ is a luvias with a different color scheme. I had the luvias and now I have 3 of the new caldia reels which are the jdm equivalent of the ballistic MQ. The caldia is a great bang for the buck, a bit heavier than the luvias but great on most bass rods. My main issue with the luvias was the...

Re: The Highest Example – The Edge Epitome Rods from Gary Loomis
I also ordered the epitome 725 and will test side by side against the full gamut of edge rods. I have the silver widow (x-ray), black widow (hm), first strike (IM) and a custom delta blank rod.

Re: Low Testosterone
Those dosages are normal for what someone would run so no worries there. How permanent the low test will be is TBD. After a cycle (which crushes natural test production) without any kind of PCT (something to jump start your natural production again) it can take 6 months to a year to get back up to n...

Re: Low Testosterone
Neither Nolvadex or Arimidex are bad if you don't go overboard, I've run both back in my bodybuilding days. Nolva doesn't really drop estrogen levels, it just prevents estrogen from binding to things tissue. I'm assuming you're dealing with some sort of gyno to have this one perscribed. Arimidex isn...

Re: 2022 Bantam MGL A
I am assuming they still have the second tier micro module gears? I know they added Infinity Drive but I still don't fully understand how it works. How I understood it: additionally to the double bearing support, the pinion, when engaged, rides on the spool shaft on the spool end which adds a third...
