Looking into these rods to serve as a heavy drop shop option for fishing in upstate NY. Usually throwing 1/2 - 5/8oz drop shot weights in current. How different is the Brigand vs. the Orochi XX? How much more am I gaining with the Orochi over the Levante? Would be matched with a 4000-CXH size Certat...

I picked up a Certate 4000C-XH as well as the 4000C-XH JDM Luvias. Both performed FLAWLESSLY on the St. Lawrence since Saturday. I missed a PIG this morning on a boot tail 4" Keitech style custom bait that shook off in the whitecaps (jumped earlier and knew how big it was) as we closed off the trip....

My buddy fished the heck out of his 6'10" ML spinning Xtreme on the St. Lawrence this week and he is still blown away by the sensitivity.
