Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods

Debating on trading my XX Diablo spec r for the Daemos. Do these rods perform similarly or is it too early to tell? The destroyers are in another league sensitivity wise? The daemos feels a little faster to me more crisp too. I have thrown 1/2oz chatterbaits With a 5" paddletail trailer with it no ...

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods

I ordered a daemos basically expecting a flashier version of the xx Diablo spec r, a new chatter bait rod. I am.very impressed with this rod first off the sensitivity is right on par with the new glx rods if not a little better the action, taper and balance are night and day compared to the xx.

Re: Can I punch with an X7 Destroyer?

It's not that kind of rod. I have put a lot of time in with this rod and for me it's a 1/2-3/4oz football jig rod, big 10-12" worms, 1oz chatterbaits and spinnerbaits, big paddle tails, even bigger crankbaits. It has power but it would be clumsy and too moderate to punch with it doesn't transition in...

Reel for x7 destroyer

Looking for suggestions. I just picked up a x7 destruction and currently have a metanium mgl paired up with it but it is pretty out of balance. I know with the length of the rod it's not ever going to be perfect but wondering what other reels are out there. Would like to stay away from round reels

Re: '14 Stella vs '16 Vanquish

So I have both now and in terms of smoothness there isn't a difference. The stella has more balls but also more weight. The vanquish is perfect for any freshwater bass application that you would be using spinning gear. If I was going to get another I would get another vanquish. are both are 2500s mo...

Re: Chatterbait Rod

I guess I am in the minority here but I like a heavy power fast rod for chatters 3/8- 1/2 oz. The xx perfect pitch works great as well as the phase 3 7'7". The diblo fast move has been working really well this season. I also found the nrx 894 to be great for them

Re: Diablo Fast Move vs P 3 Nautilus

I hav both rods you listed and the fast move sounds like it would be what you are looking for. More power than the Nautilus plus the nautilus would be cumbersome to pitch with as it has a long handle.

Re: Best Megabass casting rod for skipping docks

The bearing down will handle a 5lbs and bigger fish from under a dock no problem. The 2015 x7 diablo fast move has turned out to be a fantastic jig skipping and all around jig rod as well
