Don't see why you wouldn't want more drag, and a carbon fiber handle, unless the difference in price or gear ratio is an issue.
I got my boy at HawgTech for the handle.

Those who own them please give me some input on the reels, what are your thoughts/experiences. Also, a important question. I have heard that the gears tha...

Re: 2014 Curado I

Actual release dates seem to be varied by distributors. What is the actual release date of this reel? Some say 2-21, some say 4-2. Whats the deal?

Re: Tatula Type R Availability

Its been almost a month and a half since the "date" was told, but since we are getting closer, has the date been verified for the Tatula Type-R release. I just put my order in, and was wondering if they have released any more info.

Thanks,
LMG

Re: What if.. new ci4+ series?

What if shimano replaced the current g series reels with a new series called the ci4+ series. From what ive heard, the ci4+ is less expensive to use in reels compared to aluminum or whatever it is in the e and g series? If this is true, then a ci4+ series would be great for us fans. You get married in the IGFA in Dania FL, next to Bass Pro Shops--True story 3/17/12

Your wife catches you looking at every body of water you pass in the car, because your wondering if it holds fish, and says "Really? is that all you think about?". Yet another true story.
