Love the Pixy platform!! I have 2 yellow and a PXR. The Alphas/Sol is the aluminum version of the Pixy, also great little reels! I have 2 Sol's and a Alphas Ito.

With all the optional parts available now, (spools, gears, drags) the Pixy and Alphas/Sol will be in my rotation for a long time!

I always liked the Stan Sloan Casting Booza Bug. It has 2 thin wires for a weed guard.

I have a M-Ito (same frame as the Ringa) that I use with stock gears for shallow to deep cranks. For me, the round profile is more comfortable to palm while cranking.. I'd keep it and send them a note.

Magic eraser is the answer to dirty cork. I cleaned up some 15 year old rods to look like new in just a few minutes.

Nice! I'm looking for a clean SSS or SLC for a decent price as well..not having much luck though.. An IZE Light would work too :shock:
