Shimano metanium Mgl scratch
Hi guys, I recently noticed my metanium has a scratch that went through the coating on the top of the reel. Also there is a scratch what Ima assume is from the reel seat of my nrx on the bottom of the reel feet. I was wondering what should I do for the scratches should I use clear nail polish to sea...

megabass destroyer Daemos
Hi guys, I'm interested in purchasing the Daemos but I'm not sure if its the right rod for the application. I will be pairing this rod up with the shimano core. I will primarily be using this rod for 3/16 oz owner ultra head with a keitech easy shiner or swing impact, t rigs such as 1/8 oz-1/4 with ...

Re: metanium mgl and chronarch mgl gear interchangeability
Thanks for the help everyone and I'm probably going to send my reel in to get it looked at. Something I did notice when I took the reel apart one more time was that I made sure to put the washers under the drag nut like this )( . This seemed to help the reel feel super smooth under load but still fe...

Re: metanium mgl and chronarch mgl gear interchangeability
My metanium mgl was purchased from Japan and is the jdm model. I purchased the jdm model for the shallower line capacity. Something I noticed is when the drag is barely on the gearing is smooth but as soon as I start to increase the drag the reel begins to feel a little rough. I don't know if the wa...

metanium mgl and chronarch mgl gear interchangeability
Hi, I was wondering if the metanium mgl and the chronarch mgl gears were interchangeable. I recently purchased a metanium mgl, and I felt it was a little dry. So I opened it up and greased it and I can feel every gear moving inside now. The metaniums gears almost have like a vibration to them and fe...

Shimano jackall adrena 6 6 medium light spinning rod
So I finally purchased this amazing rod.First impressions this rod is extremely light and well balanced not tip heavy at all. No visible blemishes this rod scores a 10/10 on the build nice and clean. This rod is rated as a mod-fast but with my limited experience with it I would say it fishes more li...

Re: Shimano expride vs new g loomis IMX
By almost the same, I was referring to the blanks crispness and sensitivity being around the same not the tapers or rod ratings since you say the orochi is around a glx lv how sensitive is the poison adrena I know tackle tour made a review but don't you guys find it a little werid that they didn't i...

Re: Shimano expride vs new g loomis IMX
Wow I'm very surprised to hear that the orochi is more sensitive than the imx and the expride considering that the expride is more expensive and shimanos top dog if you don't count the jackall/shimano poison adrena. I did kind of think the imx and the expride blank were around the same considering t...

Shimano expride vs new g loomis IMX
I was just wondering how these 2 rods compare considering their around the same price and since 1 is made by g loomis which shimano owns and 1 shimano makes. How do they compare in crispness, weight, balance and of course sensitivity.
