So i decided to swap the gear set from my zillion into the steez tw and the steez gear set into the zillion. Everything fits and turns smoothly. What exactly were folks saying that is not compatible? Will try both on the water later today, but on the bench, they seem to be fitting perfectly.

I use the slp1010 from the fx68 as my main spool. Great combo for distance.

Wish they sold the engine cover separately. The plastic one on the standard zillion1000 is so damn ugly and belongs on a Fuego. The cnc'd one on the zill22 is so clean.

This looks like some Steez level reel. Now that i think of it, the next steez from daiwa better be incredible or nobody will bother when this Zillion is a thing.

Love this spool so much, i was able to track down the original spool from the Orochi Cover Hacking 10CHL, and its exactly the same spool but in 34mm. Excellent caster with braid.

If i was interested in this reel in particular, i would sell the original spool, get a RORO or another ultra light chinese spool, upgrade the stock knobs to a pair of og corks and be done with it.

I saw some Japanese youtubers with the newer steez limited and the paint is peeling almost as much. What a useless pain job by daiwa.

Fixed inductor is the best for bfs. SV boost is only gonna add some uneeded weight to the spool. You will indeed lose the SV Boost tech, but does it really matter? You're not casting further with an SV boost spool than an R+ turned spool and many many others. Control is the same as it is on all SV ...
