Big and shiny!! I was fishing a while back in February. It was really slow, and I only had one strike all day on a jig. I thought I was snagged on the brush pile I was fishing in 23' of water. I jerked up to try and pop it loose when "big and shiny" came out of the brush. She weighed 6.

Finesse jigs, finesse crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and topwaters. Great rod IMHO.

For big jerkbaits and topwaters like your 100s, 128s, and Sammy 115s the 783 works great. I even use if for some light spinnerbaits around tight quarters. Good choice.
