I know three good fishermen that had new sniper break for no good reason. It is way over rated.

They are sweet reels, some of the best around. Hold up a lot better than Diawa zillions that's for sure. Speaking from first hand experience. I would buy it for sure.

Stay away from daiwa if you ever fish cold weather. The anti reverse will stop working. Have seen it with multiple models of their spinning reels over the years.
