Good advice. In my trade (diesel engine tech) I learned a trick from an old timer years ago that's got me out of similar jams many times. When going to loosen a notoriously stubborn fastener of any type, apply a smidge of clockwise force ( as if you were trying to tighten it further) -- more often ...

you will need the drive gears a and b, and the pinion gear, to put them into a td-z. the arrangement must change to mimic the arrangement of the steez drive gear stack

EX have the updated frame (Same as MB IS) with magnesium frame and side plate. the newer models have the zaion side plate but does have the sv spool. the EX also has a VERY durable finish. also, the zaion side plate isn't an issue with the newer reels, to me anyway....they feel fine; but the MG sid...
