Since I purged all my NRXs to buy Conquests, I miss a couple. Sold my CNQ843c, so that will be replaced by a NRX 843c MBR, and might buy a 893c JWR...again. I should never have gotten rid of those two.

Unknown. But my other two Conquests which were tightened similarly didn’t crack.

Two weeks after dropping them off for warranty, replacements showed up. Thanks Shimano/GLoomis!

Think of the CNQ842c as an NRX 842.5c. More backbone for sure. Great for Jerkbaits. So very happy with this rod. I also use this for small cranks.

It is slightly heavier than the Conquest 842s. I throw weightless senkos with this rod, and again, fantastic.

I purchased five Conquest rods this year, 4 casting and one spinning. After tearing my gear down for the winter I noticed the reel seats for both my 783c and my 843c had cracks in them. I've been enjoying the conquest lineup, love the versatility and torzite guides. shome models shine like the 842, 844, 902, 903 and 904. The 843 is so so, the 844 i love for swimjigs and skipping docks :) I thought it was just me. The NRX 843 is better than the Conquest 843. Should have kept the NRX

Looking forward to seeing if they will showcase the expansion of the Conquest lineup at iCast this year.

I love my new 783C so far. Great handling rod. Would you consider the 783c (albeit shorter) to be a fit in between a Conquest 843c and 842c? I was expecting the tip of the Conquest 843c to be softer than the NRX 843c given the feedback from people in this thread, however I found them to be quite similar.
