Tulala Monstruo 71

Does anyone have this rod? I’ve always found Tulala Rods interesting but I think the weight has kept me from pulling the trigger. Just looking for some thoughts on this one

Re: Fun new EG rods and other goodies

Anybody taken the plunge on the war gazelle yet? Something about this rod really has my attention. I’m my mind, I’m thinking it’s like a shorter, more versatile black Raven extreme. I’ve get a px type R that needs a partner, and the war gazelle may be it

Re: Daiwa Embraces IoT With New Bluetooth Equipped IM Z LIMITBREAKER Baitcaster

I got all excited for a new Z, but this is definitely not what I expected. The idea of an app to go with a reel is just a little too much for me

Re: Fun new EG rods and other goodies

That aurora super stallion looks fantastic! Almost makes me want to find one but I’m gonna hood out for the new SS

I really wish the new spinning rods were grip forward, I’ve really come to prefer that style

Fun new EG rods and other goodies

I knew a few of these rods were coming, but a few were a surprise. Unfortunately the new super stallion is not included

Re: Evergreen Orion Black Rose

I’ve got a black rose and think it will fit your needs nicely. Honestly, it can handle just about any application in its weight range. I’ve mostly used mine for 1oz+ treble hook baits, 3/4-1oz spinners, and jig/worm applications in the 3/8-1oz range. If you get the rod, I highly suggest using it for...

Re: New Steez Rods - Fire Wolf

Just wanted to resurrect this thread and see if anyone has new input/thoughts on the SC C69M+ -ST? I've been considering this rod for a little while as I love rods falling in the power category of Medium+/Light Medium Heavy. Also a big fan of the full grip, though a little skeptical of the solid tip...

I did see the Super Stallion RS refresh with the full M40X treatment is coming, I think that would be more of interest to most of the bass market. Most of these short ML/M/MH rods are pretty JDM technique-centric.
Well this sounds interesting!

Re: Smith LTD rods

Did you get to fish the rod much this year? Been looking at the advance as well as the axis model. Trying to determine if these rods can handle light bottom contact in addition to treble hook baits.

Also, are they made in Japan?

Re: new rod

I know the rod is still new to you, but do you think it will handle 1oz class topwaters? Say Ima Little Stick, Showerblows 125, etc.

Re: taxidermyfriendly : Feedback Request Topic

They sent me a message asking if I was still interested in 6' Loomis casting rods, and provided an email address in case I was, no other details. Kind of similar to some scammers that have been on other fishing forums, they'll send a message regarding a WTB post but only send you their email or a fr...

Re: Help w Evergeen Kaleido Inspirare RS/GT

Main differences between them is the guides and the handles (GTs are foam vs cork), though I believe certain models may have some other slight differences. The Evergreen Japan site has a lot of info on each individual rod, pretty interesting to read
