Re: Rotated magnets on Daiwa pixy

One of my two Silver Micas had brake issues too.

Re: North Craft

Most of their lures were discontinued. They have a small catalogue for this year on the japanese rapala website. They were also fine tuning the jackall squirrel hardbaits for trout only with great success. If I remember correctly, their down cross models are actually squirrel and squirrel dd lures....

North Craft

Anyone try these lures? They were looking nice until I found out they're part of Rapala.

Re: Open water frog vs. poppers/walkers

Actually I like them both but prefer the popping frogs. I've improved the Spro Dean Rojas Signature Series Bronzeye Popper Frog by removing the leg skirts and replacing them with strips of rabbit fur that I robbed from a jig (a lot like the Deps Buster K). In my opinion it does a great job in open ...

I have an 8' 2wt from TFO that I got when they were discontinuing that model a few years back. It seems nice enough. Too long for you maybe?

Re: Finesse Tubes

Just in case you decide to go with the tubes you currently think are too small...

The Owner Rig-N-Hook runs pretty small for its size. They also have the Twistlock Finesse. Gamakatsu EWG in #4 could work too.

Re: Costa Del Mar any good?

They're great! I had a very basic model of the CDM's a LONG time ago and they were good but the rubber that sits on your ear eventually melted away. It was either from the heat of the car's interior or a reaction to some oil from either my skin or some bait. I could have had it fixed but I never did...

Re: OSP DoLive Craw

Hi guys I need a solid online source, or with fingers crossed, a shop in the Toronto area and west that carries a good variety of the craw baits. Tourney time again soon and my supply is drying up. Here's a quick one to get you started: http://www.leesglobaltackle.com Can't help you with a Canadian...

Re: Best Dobyns for Senkos DX742 or DX743

What line and reel are you using? How are you going to rig these senkos?
Both of those rods can fish the senko. It's more matter of finding the right rod for your style.

My guess is one hook through the middle would be the best way to fish it.

Re: What is your biggest issue with lures on the market

One issue I have is that I wish someone would make UL baits with barbless single hooks. Most of those japanese "area trout" hardbaits are single hook and the single hook is always barbless and usually a vanfook. These baits are always ultra light. I want to see more hard minnows around in smaller l...

I think the Spazz baits are exactly the same as the Flash Minnow TR. Only difference being the colors are for bass and not trout.

Re: Big swimjig rec and trailer

Wire is nice but the rubber bands on my Dirty Jigs haven't snapped on me yet. I own a California swim jig from the first week of release and have gone through about 20 football and finesse swim jigs without any band degradation issues.
