Re: New KVD Sexy Frog

It is all about the money. He has made SK so much money it's sick. How many frog colors do you need guys? Seriously... They made it for the money he will bring in and because they know a lot of people are brand oriented and if you fish all SK cranks and you love them and think they are high quality ...

Re: Jigs??????

Eakin's all the way for an all purpose jig, their swim jig looks like a good one too. They make a decent football jig but you will have to find a good flippin' jig or grass jig. I still haven't found one that I must have.

Re: Best Fluorocarbon for cranking

I have been a fan of Vicious original fluoro for cranking. I have dabbled in a few other lines and keep going back to that one. One thing I like is that I can fish 10lb line but it acts more like 12-14 because of it's diameter.

Re: What Line. . . . .

Daiwa Steez Compile-X 7'1H paired with a Airy Red Pixy that is spooled with 50lb Suffix 832 and on occasion a 15 or 20lb fluoro leader.

Agreed with most about half the spool with backing for all braid applications.

Re: Winchvs CrazyCrankervs Calcutta

Crazy Crankers hands down. I own two and work in a fishing retailer where the Chronarchs are sold. The CC feels more refined to me. I have not been impressed with Shimano's new designs. I am sure they are good reels but the CC feels better in my hands.

Re: NO MORE DAIWA FUEGO SPINNING ANYMORE ?

Wow didn't see that one coming!? I knew they came out with a reel at the $199 price point but I thought the Fuego was safe since it was sitting at $299 under the Certate and Steez. So does that mean the rods are next to go?

Re: New Daiwa "Z" reels - What's going on?

I think I saw the "Z" and hoped it was more referring to the TD-Z as a newer model. The T-3 makes sense now that you mention it. I looked more closely at the specs of both and the design. the new Z and T3 are very different reels. the Z has the robust gearing and is the heavier of the two. the T3 h...

Re: Fuego diet plan

DougL58, How many reels have you tried this on? It looks very interesting and I have the tools available and would love to try it on the drive shaft and drive gear on my reels. I don't know if I can stomach the accuracy it would take on a spool. I have some cheaper reels I can try it on. Last questi...

Re: New Daiwa "Z" reels - What's going on?

To be honest I haven't paid much attention to the forum talk for whatever reason. It wasn't that I didn't know about them it is that I didn't pay attention to the details. I think I saw the "Z" and hoped it was more referring to the TD-Z as a newer model. The T-3 makes sense now that you mention it....

Team Daiwa T Rods

It looks by size and action the T rods are just updated S rods. Anybody know anything about the T rods other than what is on Daiwa's site?
