a good reel to look at is the daiwa saltist hrf. it is nice a smooth like a tda hst but has crbb all round and is treated for salt water use.

Barra seem to react to a slow stop start retrieve. surface lures work best in low light Eg. early morning/late afternoon. They might call it the Alphas, but I think it's more likely a souped up TDA. Somebody on another thread had a picture of a "new TDA" and it pretty much looked like that. Frustrated
Queensland Barramundi season opened yesterday. We've had torrential rain for the last week and all the rivers are in full flood. And it's still raining. And to top it off I got to work Night Shifts this weekend. Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!--------

the Daiwa Bayard 150 has a flipping switch and is righthanded. It is a round reel though.

haven't seen one in the stores yet and can't find any info on the net.
It has been advertised by Daiwa Australia but they haven't updated their website. They seem to be slack at that.
