I have ended up ordering the JDM G1 alloy gear sets to replace my buzzy gears. Hopefully the issue doesn't arise again so quickly.

Shimano use 2 slot sizes in handles regardless of year. Baitcast reels up to 250 size use a 7mm x 4mm slot and reels 300 size and up use a 8mm x 4mm the same as Daiwa and most other reel manufacturers. I might order the JDM alloy gear sets then. I have had Steez A reels get the gear buzz but after a few years of use not a year. Seems the G1 Alloy gears are more durable then the Current brass gears from Daiwa.

The millionaire saltwater 203 ( the black and red model) had a higher 6 something gear ratio if you can still find the parts for it.

TSI-321 is fully synthetic and is safe with rubber and plastic. But yes be careful of mineral oils.
