So the ferrule is supposed to be showing? It doesn't look right.

JDM 2 Piece Rods
Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with 2 piece rods from Japan. I'm having issues with connecting the two pieces. The top half won't fit all the way - 3/8" of ferrule showing. I can't seem to get the two pieces to butt up together. Last year, I ordered a Shimano Cardiff rod and had to sand...

Re: no more rods on Digitaka
i have the major craft ms-x limited 65L. it is an awesome rod, paired it with a c2000hgs vanquish and 6lb sufix nanobraid, super lightweight combo, extremely sensitive. mainly use it with 1/16 and 1/8oz jigheads with some sort of plastic on it (usually a 3" grub). only problem i had controlling a f...

Scared me. I was about to order the Major Craft MS-X Limited spinning rod. Any reviews on them. Was thinking about the 65L.

Re: DRAVE'd
Received both of mine today. Got the 100mm in purple with M7 knobs. I was skeptical about the edgy look, but they are definitely better in person. The bearings are very smooth. Fit and finish is very good as well. Very solid. I put them on my Tatula HD and Zillion TWS. I don't have a scale, but they...

Re: Conquest 100hg came in (size comparison)
I have the new Conquest 101 and find it very comfortable to palm as well. I like the look and feel of a well CNC machined reel. The only gripe I have about the new Conquest is that the spool looks cheaply made. It looks like black sheet metal to me.

Looks like the only reels available in the "premium" is the FX reels. My guess is every reel will be a FX.

I don't believe in replacements. Just keep adding more to my stable. If it ain't broke, no reason to replace it. Can never have enough! LOL

Re: 2015 Daiwa Luvias
mine arrived today. very smooth as previous one. I actually like the look quite a bit better than the last model. The additional bearing is supporting(under) the spool. Very nice reel.. smooth and light First impressions are awesome. Still as silky and smooth like the legendary 2012 model! http://w...

Re: 2015 Daiwa Luvias
I recently bought a 2506H because I wanted to try a Daiwa spinner. I haven't had a chance to fish with it yet, but it's very smooth and quiet right out of the box. It's light, too. I can't imagine the Luvias being in the same league as the Stella FE or FI, but one can sure hope... Did you...

Re: 2015 Daiwa Luvias
To me, the 2013/2014 Luvias has a very slick weightlessness to it when reeling. Not quite as solid as the Stella or Steez, but smoother feeling. The Steez (first version) is almost as smooth with a little more rigid feeling (I haven't tried the EX). The Stella FE is the least smooth but most solid f...

2015 Daiwa Luvias
About to buy one and was wondering what you guys think of it. No sure about the Automatic drag ATD. I have the previous model and was really impressed with it. In my opinion, it's the smoothest reel ever and I've used steezs, certates, and stellas.
