I don't either, and i don't know if they're JDM, but I love fishing all the Keitech jigs.

Re: Ned Rig on Casting Gear

Thank you for all your help. I am definitely ruling out casitas as that was what I was using and the anti reverse broke on a 4 pounder. Alphas an ssv are also great choices. And if I were to build a tatula spool, would I need new bearings? And I just received the rod it has an extremely soft fast t...

Re: Store plastics in worm binder or Plano open storage box?

I do both, but i feel like they keep better in the bags they came in (scent/moisture/shape) so i don't mind storing like chunk trailers alongside jigs, but worms and especially swimbaits i keep in the packaging i bought it in because they are wont to lose their shape.

Re: What is hands down the MOST...

My Diawa Racing Design AGS rods is my top dogs right now. So sensitive, I can feel the bass looking at my lure as I move it. And (when dead sticking) I can pickup/feel background noise (cosmic microwaves) emanating from the Big Bang throughout the bank, Lol. Nah, you're probably confusing the CMB w...

Re: TD-X 103HiL

I noticed a few of the later models have a split foot to sit lower. I think they palm great with that acs seat. My finger wraps around the rod instead of the front of the reel. They're just really unique in their design. Proof Daiwa has never been afraid to innovate.

Re: Molix Lover Spinnerbait

That's a good point. It seems to work, but I'll swap it anyway. I think I just need take more care when casting it honestly. A lot of times I think it's getting wrapped around the line/wire mid cast or on touchdown.

Re: Best value jerkbait rod

I like the Tatula 6'10" m/xf for jerkbaits. The solid tip gives it a dual taper which makes the bait easy to work, the hooks easy to set, and the fish easy to land. There is plenty of back bone to get a hook set, but since it's a medium power it bends well to fight the fish. It's also a killer flick...

Re: TD-X 103HiL

I believe it. Everything I had back then came from Wal-Mart and said Zebco or Shakespeare on it. It does free spool really well. I didn't plan on it before I had it in hand, but i can't wait to hook into something with this thing. I've got it rigged up on a Lexa 711MHXB with some 16# supernatural an...

Re: One reel to rule them all

For 1 reel for all of my fishing, it would have to be any fast reel with a shallow SV spool. I'd say my Steez SV TW 8.1. I'd do a T3 with an SV spool as well. That T3 with an sv1000 shallow and hedgehog airs is my bfs reel. It works great for that. I use 8# Invizx, but I'm thinking about dropping t...

TD-X 103HiL

I won one of these on eBay (I was the sole bidder) for $30. I got it just to put on the shelf alongside my other unique and vintage reels. I didn't really expect much from this kind of beat up 20 yr old reel that definitely isn't round, but not exactly low profile, with the handle aft of the spool, ...
