The spool will obviously run much looser at the same settings it had before, but you should be able to compensate by simply tightening the cast control knob.

Found a fish to break in my new swim bait setup. Not huge but still a solid fish for around here. Fish came on a 6” Optimum Boom Boom slow rolled through the pads. Gear used included a Daiwa Z2020 and an Abu Garcia Fantasista Beast with 20lb P Line CXX.

That is a fantastic fish! I’m in your neck of the woods and can attest to that being a BEAST, the frame on that fish is unreal for up here. Well done

If you can find one I’d look at the Destroyer Evoluzion Mephisto. It’s a 6.5 power medium fast 7’2” rod that should be pretty close to what you’re looking for. I know that didn’t help narrow it down, but it’s another option

Honestly if you’re trying to free the spool up I’d stay with changing the inductor spring or rotor. Both are cheaper than a new spool and are known to make SV spools quicker. There’s a thread I’ll link at the bottom that covers doing this.

The IP68 is based off the OG Zillion frame and would need spacers to run these spools. Just a heads up
