Re: Free Giveaway Contest - Keitech Japan Premium Jigs &

#117 I have a few Keitech jigs and have used them only recently, but already caught a few on them. I really like them for a lower profile jig, they're very compact and so far, they've been snag free. As far as Megabass, the Cyclone has probably caught more fish for me this year than any non-plastic....

Re: Cal, is this what you've been waiting for?

I got the MG7 lefty (from a non-board sponsor ). Looks and feels pretty sweet. I'll give it a first run tonight and post my thoughts.

(It can be found for a bit less than 280 before shipping.)

Re: Newspaper Article

I'm getting this one framed, right after I get dampeoples to autograph it! Great article, and the exposure is awesome.

Hey how come you arranged the photo shoot while I was away on vacation, maybe my old tin can wants some publicity!

Re: barry bonds may be cheating...

I hated Bonds for years after he left the Pirates, and sometimes during his tenure. But it was clear then that he was one of the best natural athletes to ever play the game, many argue the best. One of the greatest hitters, best vision at the plate and all that junk. Always a jerk though, of which t...

Re: Best Lizard

I like Zoom but I've had a lot of luck in the past with Baku Baits Gecomite. I've even fished it weightless as a topwater bait in pads, and had some success. I particularly like the Natural Frog w. Pearl Belly " Nature Skins " color, I just know it's probably unlike anything they're gonna see and se...

Re: Another Quality Shipping Job: UPS

Fortunately none of my fishing goods were damaged in any of the boxes. Mostly soft baits, hooks and some cranks. Glad I didn't have any rods or reels in this order.

Another Quality Shipping Job: UPS

Just got this from Cabelas today. 3 boxes, all crushed, but this one stood out.

Unfortunately I wasn't home when this was delivered. I'll see what the contents look like and repost any damages, fortunately I didn't order anything too fragile, this time.

Re: NEW Daiwa Alphas

You guys are getting flat out anal retentive regarding weight! You sound like a bunch of Sissies! Gimme a break, Gadget  I agree. I'm not gonna worry about an ounce and a half. There are plenty of light reels available, not every single one has to be feather light. This seems to meet different...

Re: Gary Yamamoto Senko or Yum Dinger

Between these 2 options I prefer the Senko, but I quit overpaying for soft jerk baits years ago, I just use custom. That way I can request versions exactly like the senko - for less $$, or if I'm worried about durability I can ask for a tougher pour. I like picking specific color combinations too. O...

Re: Jig storage

The flipsider is great, I also use mine for small to medium lipless cranks. The larger traps won't fit if the hooks are too big. I've fit most of my spinnerbaits but the big 1 ouncers with the long wire don't quite fit. The only other issue I have is that it's the longest/tallest box in my bag and i...

Re: NEW Daiwa Alphas

I think the weight is a fair sacrifice for line capacity and larger handle. Obviously it's not a 100 size reel, it's a 150. But I see the resemblance to the Advantage.

Re: NEW Daiwa Alphas

I like it. I don't like that screw sideplate release though. Is that what that is? Otherwise, looks good. I wonder if anything clicks.
