Re: Interested in new revo

Torque would be my only concern. I don't see how you could think its too fast for jigs as an example.

Phenix Recon gen1 and 13Fishing Omen

I have been told that the Recon gen 1 and a 13 Fishing Omen are very similar rods. I can get a used Recon for the same price as a new Omen. Was wondering if any of you guys have used both? In terms of weight, balance, and sensitivity are they really that close? I do already have an Omen and really l...

Re: Abu Revo Gen 3

For sure STX. Lews tournament pro got its review. Many post on many forums are about which reel TP or STX is better. It's basically a preference things coming from users. Would be nice to see how TT scores the STX.

Re: Simplifying my setups as a coangler

You have a lot of 13 Fishing Omen Black... how long are you using these rods? Do they worth the money? I'm really thinking to buy some of these rods... I haven't tried some of the top brands and modeles but only some medium and low end rods. The Omen for $100 is hard to beat. I had a few Veritas an...

You just missed out on tacklewarehouse Cumura sale for $99 last week. Got me one for $89 with the promo code.

didn't mean to hyjack. Sorry
No worries, it was good info on MB rods. Didn't know they were so versatile.

Since nobody oppose my ideas, finding the line versatile enough will be the hardest part. May end up using mono or hybrids.

Simplifying my setups as a coangler

Don't have a boat and when I go fishing with my buddy he's loaded with rods. Sometimes it's three of us on his 20 footer. I want to only have 5 setups with me to reduce clutter. I need to be creative and have 5 setups be able to work for the techniques I normally throw. Will have 4 BC and one spinni...

Re: Rapala scatter rap

Looks like it's not only the Chinese that have been stealing other people's technology. Shame on you Rapala. Still it looks like a killer action. And Salmo should have made their Wacky lure available as I've never seen one. Now now.......I have lost track of all the Yamamoto Senko knock offs from A...

Re: Medium Light Rods

Looks like I will get a ML for the river and a MH for senkos in thick vegetation. I may just use a baitcast for senkos though. However if the ML works for drop shot then my problem may be solve.

Medium Light Rods

Looking to pick up a new spinning setup and replace my aged cheap fleet farm Rapala setup. I have already bought too many baitcast setup as of late so I need to tone it down before the lady throws a fit. I'm looking to get a 13 fishing Omen Black 7'1 medium light and pair it up with a Symetre. I wil...
