Is there much difference in casting difference between these 2 and say a shimano 250 caluctta DC? I don't have the rod but it's on my wish list... G.Loomis BCR893GLX or NRX. It's 7'5" and called "senko" rod and designed for plastics but I'm sure it could handle top waters without any issues. For a reel - especially for distance - go for a Shimano DC (digital control) reel like the Calcutta 100DC...
