I acquired a few new reels since last fall/winter do I got to finally use them this past year. My reel of the year candidate is without a doubt the Calais 200DC! Absolutely amazing!

I doubted my decision buying a Certate 2500 a few years ago. I'm glad I did. I don't usually use the spinning rod but I love having it just in case lol. Anyway, would love to see a pic of that combo. I've always wanted a Stella!

I don't any personal experience using that reel but I just did a quick search online and it seems like a pretty good reel, especially at that price! I would also take a look at the Shimano Caenan in that price range!

I loved my Curado 200DHSV! My first "big" reel purchase! They really were smooth and excellent casters! I loved the size of them!
