Bass Opening Week (Pic's/Video)

Good morning TT! Been a long winter and a busy spring finally got away for some real holidays and a week of bass fishing! Conditions looked good, normal water levels, lot's of vegetation temp's were 68-74 95% of the time. However it seemed the fish were a little post spawn this time around, a few re...

Re: 2018 Update! Pic's & Setup's for this summer!

All gone, Core's went when Aldebaran's came out and the D's I replaced with the Curado K's. Think I pitched with those on my 895's at one point they went away and I ran Curado 70XG's for a season. Got rid of those and now we are sitting on what we have now. I want another 905 Conquest/Metanium Setup...

2018 Update! Pic's & Setup's for this summer!

Good morning guys! It's been a little while since starting a thread and posting some pics...chatting rods etc..Decided to do a complete 360 in my lineup this year starting with the removal of my 4 G.Loomis NRX Jig/Pitching Sticks. We let these rods go to good friends of mine and decided to try out s...

Is that the 6'6ML Poison Adrena? Truly regret not buying that stick.

Re: Show off your stuff

Hard to follow up a boat haha. Nice rig and gear guys! This fall I decided to sell off some older gear and replace it with new equipment. First upgrade was not needed but a bit of a impulse but after fishing and selling the Calcutta Conquest 100's I really missed having a high end 5 gear Shimano. Th...

Re: Where are the shimanos?

More Shimano goodies! Picked up 3 of the Curado K 200XG's for my Spinnerbait/Swimbait/& Frog rods! Very impressed with how well the 70XG's held up last year and the previous fall. These feel wicked smooth and are going to fit in my lineup nicely. They even match the Expride's a little with the gold ...

Beyond excited can't wait to fish it. Little bigger than Calcutta Conquest 100's that I fished prior but has a sleek feel and palms nicely. Should be fun with those 1/2-7/8oz plug's I plan on throwing.

Re: Where are the shimanos?

Thanks for the reply, the Aldebaran interests me because of the extremely light spool. I love my Chronarch MGL but the more I use it I understand it can't go as light as the Zillion SV's I have. I do really enjoy my first Shimano though and the light weight capability of the Aldebaran interests me....

Re: Where are the shimanos?

How have those Aldebaran's held up??? Been considering one of them versus a Metanium MGL JDM, just not as much feedback as I expected on the Aldebaran. The Aldebaran has held up great. I do a basic oil and outer cleaning each season. Nothing internal. We fished them hard pitching plastics and winch...

Re: Where are the shimanos?

I really like the 6'10 medium adrena too. The tip is perfect and its so light for one hand slinging. I agree i use em as twitching rods one for jerk bait's the other for small spook style topwater (Dog-X Speed Slide). Handle smallies, largemouth, treble hooks and both mono/fluoro lines well. I'm in...

Re: Where are the shimanos?

Added a third Shimano Poison Adrena to the arsenal this morning, thanks again to a good friend of mine. I absolutely love the accuracy and light weight the pair of 6'10" Mediums have gave me the last 2 seasons now. The third addition is the 7'4" Ex-Heavy. The action isn't labelled on the rod but fee...

NEW Reel Cranking Upgrade

Good morning guys! It's been awhile since purchasing anything cool gear wise and recently I found that dam gear monkey on my back once again. Looks like this fall/winter well be upgrading reels, upgrading rods and changing half of our personal bass lineup. We have our eye on a couple of the new G.Lo...
