Re: MB orochi perfect pitchvs poison adrena 72h
Adrena has to be lighter in weight. Yep, my PA 172H arrived yesterday and it’s extremely light in weight! Hope to get it on the water later this week. Can you provide feedback on the Adrena 7'2H? Can it do 1oz bullet weight plus plastic? Is the upper range really 1.5oz as it states? And last questi...

Re: Kayak Frog Rod
Does the 7'2 H Poison Adrena have the same power as the Expride? I love my 6'11 M+ but I remember people saying the PA 7'2 H is a little on the lighter side. If it has the same power it would be an easy decision for me to move up to the PA and call it a day.

Re: Kayak Frog Rod
I fish from a Topwater 120PDL, and the 7'3XH Expride isn't necessarily hard to get hooksets with (maybe a little), but what I have trouble with is accurate casts. It is listed as a fast action but you would need to load it up with something heavier than a 3/4oz frog (typically throwing 1/2-3/4oz) t...

Re: Kayak Frog Rod
I fish the Bully Wa 70 on the 72H Expride and it handles it really well. It's also fine with a 1 oz weight and plastic. I was planning to replace the Expride with an Enox or Orochi last season but I ended up liking it a lot for the Bully Wa, which is the frog I prefer to throw if they're eating it....

Kayak Frog Rod
I do mostly kayak fishing and looking at getting a dedicated frog rod as I want to do more frog fishing this year. Mostly I'll be fishing milfoil mats, pads, and the edges around them. Money is not a concern but at the same time I don't feel it would be necessary to spent $500 on a frog rod. I do wa...

Re: Crawler baits
Some retailers now have the new Imakatsu Aventa RSR Crawlers which was designed to cast better and perform at both slow and high speed. I got 2, and I still haven't been able to fish my raid bait yet  We're getting into topwater mode soon by me so hope to gain some on the water experience in th...

Re: New lures in your box 2021
I'm late to the party but got some okashira heads and a pack of spark shads over the winter. Fished last weekend and was able to get one who choked it. I had more hits and misses so I was wondering if they were just swiping at the flash of the blade and not getting the swimbait/hook.

Re: Thoughts MB XXX Mat Bucker
I have the XXX Jade python (spinning rod) and happy with sensitivity. I've been curious about this rod myself along with the destruction 70 which has a regular taper, 1 power up, and rated 3/8-2oz. I'll probably just wait for the P5 with US tapers to come out though.

Re: USDM Destroyers are getting a refresh
I heard that the P5 would show up in USDM tapers but not until late 2021. Maybe that is what this is in reference to? I've been hoping for this to add a P5 spinning rod to the arsenal. I'd love to see models along the lines of the flyssa and addermine in P5.

Re: New Shimano Exsence A arrival?
Keep monitoring some of the Japanese sites and it would appear April’s a good projection. Not sure exactly when, but close watching will give you a good idea when to expect shipment. Thanks. You were right in the end - I couldn't resist the new Shimano, Now I'll be able to compare one vs the ...

New Shimano Exsence A arrival?
I bought a Certate last month but decided I need the new Exsence as well so I just put one on pre-order.
Most sites list April as the arrival date. Anyone heard anything on when we should expect these?

That's it Cal. When I read the review here and they were no longer being made so I procured a few through an auction site.Cal wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 6:56 amThe Big Bite? that's weird.jerkbait22 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 5:04 amI bought a couple of their fat bodied shallow running crank (1-2 foot diver) but they all sank. Re: Favorite type of topwater bait?
I find that the bigger size work better and slower downward twitches work well. I fish it on flouro to drag the nose down a little so it doesn't want to come out of the water as much. I like to target cast it to the edge of structure and grass and work it very slow and tight. Osp has a great exampl...
