Re: Any opinions on the Major Craft Corzza?
I had CZC-702H rod. Nice model for baits 110-130 mm. With fluorocarbon minnow jerking well. But when I bought Zodias (1610m-2), began to use Corzza fewer and fewer. Advantages Shimano: weight, sensitivity, CI4+ handle more comfortable for me, EVA instead of cork. Finally, I sold MajorCraft to anoth...

Re: Pixy drag.
casting distance on both spools may be the same but i'm getting way less overruns on the airy red original spool. grab the SmoothDrag kit ($18), polish the metal washers and it'll be great.

Any opinions on the Major Craft Corzza?
They're currently 50% OFF on plat so i was thinking of buying one. Never tried any major craft rods so i'm not sure what to expect. How do they fare against the zodias/hyuga/levante etc? Are they well balanced, tip heavy or how's the build quality in general? to those interested http://www.plat.co.j...

T3 SV is also on sale everywhere. If there's some left, that would be an excellent option as well.

Re: Anyone tried DIY spools? $29-$40 BFS spools!
Received the replacement spool and been using it on Shad for the past week. Casts 3/8 dart jigs across the lake  . At first, the stock bearings are noisy but after a day or two of usage, i can barely hear them (Bocas are way noisier). Been using the spool intensively with #10 braid so will se...

Re: Concept A making a noise. Problem?
Had this same problem and it was the spool bearing. Removed it, cleaned it, applied some new oil and the noise is gone.

Re: Questions about Zodias BFS
If you order from Japan, you should check this site. They have the best prices on the Zodias rods http://www.bass.co.jp/. I did no try the BFS version but between a MH Hyuga and a MH Zodias, i feel like the Hyuga is noticeably more sensitive.

What was the problem? I imagined this spool being better for 1/16th than any SV spools.MaxZmus wrote:Fished my blue spool on my Alphas sv. 6lbs test pline-cx, 1/16 head and baby sluggo, 1/8 h20 xpress cruld crank. Verdict......NOT IMPRESSED. I'll stick with the stock SV105 spool.

Re: Anyone tried DIY spools? $29-$40 BFS spools!
Has anyone bought and tested the spool for the T3 platform? I've received mine yesterday but it seems like it isn't spinning freely and you could hear a rubbing sound. I have even tried removing the sideplate shim but it made it even worst. Kinda unusable right now I bet the inductor is rubbing the...
