You should probably make a batch with Tackle Tour Forum on the shaft and sell them on here to members
I know I would buy one.

Re: Daiwa Free Floating Options
It is incredibly frustrating. Not long ago at all almost every Daiwa reel had a free floating spool. TDS, TD Pro, Exceller, MegaForce+, TDAdvantage. All of these reels were under $200 I think and had the free floating spool feature. I actually like the new Tatula CT and newest small 100, but I only ...

Re: Problem for ZPI RC 002 spool not compatible with TD ITO
I've encountered similar issues with "103" spools in 1016 reels. See http://www.tackletour.net/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=80168&start=45 It appears as if some 103 spools have a bearing that sits higher on the spool shaft and closer to the reel frame bearing holder than some 1016 spools. This can be remed...

Re: Best general purpose fishing line and brand?
I agree with Cal. 90% of my bass fishing is done with some sort of 8 carrier smooth braid around 30lb. Tie frogs straight to it and jigs and worms to in low visibility situations. Use a fluoro leader if fish are line shy or abrasion is an issue. Use a mono leader for topwater in open water and for c...

Thanks for the replies. Roro BFS ported spool will go in the IS. Rays adjustable inductor long cast spool will go in a TDZ 105 I just got that is in great condition. I'll then try the TDZ105 Gigas spool in the Steez I guess. Anyone have an extra R+ inductor laying around?

Re: My first attempt at a Pixilla
How do you like the Ray's Pixy spool? DaveJ I liked the one I had, but regretfully sold my Silver Mica Pixzilla with that spool in it. Other priorities dictated the sale, otherwise, it would have never left me. How does it compare with other Pixy Spools? I've never owned a Pixy, but would like to, ...

Re: Anyone tried DIY spools? $29-$40 BFS spools!
Hmm. I just reread the Rays long cast review with the adjustable fixed mag brake. I was planning on putting that in my TDZ lefty pitching reel, but based on that thread the spool will be uncontrollable in it. I'd like to put the Roro shallow BFS spool in the IS because it is also ultra fast and the...

Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's
Nearing completion of my first Alphas tune and have a new appreciation gig HOW deep the “modding rabbit-hole” can go on certain models....Alphas takes the cake for me so far!!!... Original “Alphas 103” was given the “‘saurus“ treatment....and for pretty obvious reasons has now been crowned the “Alp...

What's the verdict on the AMO ZPI lookalike (34mm)...? Let me know if you have one and which reel you have used it in. Thanks in advance! Works great in older 103 reels. In my LIN10 1016 there is a fitment issue and the spool bearing is too tall so the spool wont seat all the way in. Works great in...

Re: More new Tatula models...
Like a lot of things in this world, a vocal minority gets heard more clearly than others in certain venues, like it or not. I'm a fan of high end Daiwa reels in general, but I own and regularly fish a range of the Tatula family as well. From a 100 size at $129.99 to a 300 size at $269.99, Daiwa off...

Re: More new Tatula models...
The obvious answer to your inquiry is that Daiwa doesn't plan to release other gear ratios in the revised Zillion or they likely would have done it on day 1. They probably want to sell the existing stock of the existing SV Zillions instead.
