BoatsToGO inflatable kayaks

Does anyone have any experience with this company? Their inflatable kayaks seem like a good deal compared to some others that I have seen. For example, this one is only 800(with pedals), and has good reviews. There isn't a lot out there about them, but it does seem enticing. https://www.boatstogo.co...

Sierra BFS-700 or 701 for Neds

Hello all, I am looking for advice regarding the Sierra bfs series. I want to choose 1 for exclusively ned rigs. Does anyone have experience with both and have a preference for Neds? I saw Hobie's review of the 701c, and he said the 701c has a more traditional taper(no carbon tip) than the 700c(has ...

DX702C for inshore?

I bought this rod a few years ago on a 40% sale, but have rarely used it because it was too stiff for most sized ned rigs. Do you think it could be used in an inshore context for small plastics (for example, CAL DOA shad on 1/8-1/4 jighead). Based off of the weight range it seems plausible with say ...

Will there ever be a New Metanium DC

Will me ever get a new Met DC? The old one is 8 years old and has pretty outdated technology at this point. I don't understand how it has been so long without a refresh of nay kind.

Re: Shimano Curado 150 MGL Or Shimano Chronarch 150 MGL? Help W/ Decision

The chronarch casts well, but I have never liked mine as much as I expected. It is a little long in the tooth (over 5 years old now), and the frame is not metal. Also, it is larger than some of the more recent shimano releases. I just got a JDM metanium for $240 shipped. Even though the spool and h...

Re: New Poison Adrena

So you throw senkos, 1/-1/4 texas rigs, and like 1/4 ounce or 3/8 football jigs on the rod? 5" senkos, neko, 3/8 oz dark sleepers, 3/8, 1/2 and 5/8 oz lipless, 3/16 to 5/15 finesse jigs plus 4 inch plastic, 1/4 oz t rigs, 1/4-3/8 oz spinnerbaits, 3/8 oz square bills, 110 size jerkbaits. 12# flouro....

Re: Shimano iCast leaks?

Been wondering about this more and more the closer we get to ICAST. Wondering for both big Japanese brands honestly. Still have funds for a few more reels/setups and I want to wait and see what's coming. I figure most of it won't relate to my fishing, best reels for me are already out. I assume a M...

How do the top Combos of yesteryear compare to what is available today?

Say we go back to like the late 2000s. How would the top of the line combos from back then compare to what we have today? For reels, I mean like the Core and Older steez variants. For rods, I am talking pre-NRX. So whatever high-end loomis or megabass sticks you guys had back then, or still have now...

Re: In search for a light popper and small crank rod

I think the 7 FT M Expride Glass rod would be great for this. I really like it for all small to mid size crankbaits.

Could also get that model in the Zodias, Curado, Intenza, or SLX lines.

The rod I am using is a 72. I could see a longer rod being beneficial, though

Re: Inshore casting setups

I feel that at first I had a couple issues: -the swimbaits I was using had awful hooks -I was using a H power rod that did not stay loaded that well during the fight with the snook I have a better hookup ratio with my MH Moderate fast crankbait rod. It stays loaded through the fish's jumps and chang...
