Man, that grip/reel seat does look huge when you see it in hand. I have two MagL/XF IMX rods and am really learning to like the taper. I have one in 5'2" and one at 6'. I would love a longer one but am not a fan of any of the Loomis spinning rod seats I have held. I would buy a custom on that b...

We also recognize it's difficult to post photos sharing your passion for all things tackle and fishing on this forum. The bottom line is our servers are bursting at the seams and we're strategizing how to relieve this burden either by purging old content, or expanding storage - all of which takes t...

Re: Shimano's Fully Machined BFS Masterpiece

I have been on the fence about one ever since they came out, that review is not helping me resist. Also not helping is that I think I have found the perfect 1/16-1/8oz inline spinner rod, a legend inshore 66xlm, and I now find that I do need a salt-safe reel for it. The reel will be way way overkill...

Re: Shimano’s Curado K Baitcaster : More than Black and White

That is good to hear, I am really interested in the lineup, I am glad to see that it seems like full cork rods are making a comeback in popularity. The IMX pro pretty much replaces the middle of the G.Loomis lineup which used to have a bunch of different series rods to pick from. I had only started ...

Re: Shimano’s Curado K Baitcaster : More than Black and White

I noticed that the review mentioned you all tested the K on the new Loomis IMX-Pro rods. I would love to see a review of them in the future. I have not found a lot of info about them out there yet, I love the looks of them but the price point is so close to the GLX now that I don't really know what ...
