Sir what reel are you running it in?

Re: Zillion HLC

I have seen Nitroman now and humph earlier both say the HLC's are SUPER smooth reels What is it exactly that makes it so smooth? Am I missing anything below? I have a 6.3: 1 Zillion that I have now: 1. totally broken down, cleaned and cleaned bearings and used Rocket Fuel to relube them up 2. Upgra...

The beauty in that is you can do almost anything to it. I gave mine a Steez nose plate

Re: Blue Emblem vs. Current ZPI PG and M offerings

The platform is Steez LTD or sv103xs ( the zillion frame Steez spool)
There’s no specified intended use other than to discover what that would be based off reel and rod combination
Maybe a Steez sv reel.

Blue Emblem vs. Current ZPI PG and M offerings

I can only have one
but I am not sure which.. I was leaning towards the M but the nostalgia
of the BE makes me want to it. I need help because i've never had either and I am not sure what I am getting in terms of performance..

Re: Champion Extreme 745HP

I’m going to the St. John’s river with it today or tomorrow to pitch jigs
Now that’s a proving ground for any rod. I really just need some time off.
I will be pitching 1/2-3/4 jigs with the tokar hook. Should be a great time
as it's beginning to begin to cool off in Florida

I have one in a Steez SV and I think the inductor is R+

Re: Champion Extreme 745HP

Finally got the rod in. I had my old gen one Cumara medhvy and the Dobyns is slower in action The first 4-5 guides on the Dobyns is where the power steps in at. I pulled out my st. Croix LE 7’4” and the Dobyns isn’t close So I went to the Kistler 7’3” heavy. And in comparison I wasn’t sure if the Do...

Inductor Swaps

I have one too many SV spools and I was thinking about taking the inductor off of it and putting it on the Steez sha spool. You many know something that I don’t so I’m asking if anyone has done anything of the sort before? I know the tackle Trap sells the one spool with the upgraded inductor so indu...

Re: Champion Extreme 745HP

One of the things to keep in mind in my opinion is the military discount that
some companies such as Dobyns have. It is an incentive unit self for me to at least try.
My weekend is stacked but I will carve out some time for a green fish.
