looking at RF vs F actions for Gamakatsu Luxxe Zephyros.
Any idea what is Fast would be in comparison to Loomis fast? Is RF would be more like traditional regular?
Thank you.

Re: Gamakatsu Luxxe Zephyros
I am contemplating getting one for topwater or\and jerk baits in 1\4 to 3\8 range.
Just wanted to hear overall impression, are they worth it? I could not find any information from real people using them.

Re: 2021 Shimano Reels
You are right, now when you pointed out I can see the bearing, it is hardly noticeable on the very top picture explaining the infinity drive. So 2 pinion bearings are still here, it is just the spool bearing location is moved. Interesting to see 3 bearings on the handle shaft, I was wondering where ...

The P5s including X bites are finally in stock at the US retailers, perhaps more X Bites reviews will be coming here as more people start getting them? Would be interesting to thee more comparisons. Thank you.

Re: 2021 Shimano Reels
No more x ship for conquest, we have infinyty drive, looks to be one bearing is gone from the pinion support or am I missing something? Lots of good improvements, not all of them are easy to figure out based on the limited info: additional bearing to support the handle shaft ( to eliminate back play...

Re: Oneten stick jerkbaits
I have this rod. The action is true regular IMHO and it will be OK for 110 and pop max, 1/2 oz is fine on it, but does not cast smaller 1/4 popx well at all. It is a strange rod, the tip diameter it disproportionally large, it looks to me almost like the blank was cut in the wrong place, instead of ...

Re: Megabass & the battle for BEST bottom contact rod
p5 xbite seems to be getting really good reviews for bottom contact applications. People reporting it to be preferred to nrx 853... I was excited about it until I saw that snapped one in the P5 thread  I hear you, that is one of the reasons I have not gotten one. Looking forward to what the u...

I have Japanese market oneten orochi XXX and hate this short trigger real seat. The P5 has similar one from what I know and that's a deal breaker for me.

Re: G. Loomis GLX 782C MBR for jerkbaits
Are the 782\783 glx models a bit softer\lighter in power compared to 842\843? Some people say they are.
Or they just shorter versions?
I cant find a place to hold these 782\783 rods in my hands.

Re: G. Loomis GLX 782C MBR for jerkbaits
Will 782 glx work for megabass 110 1/2 oz? I may go to 3/8 oneten junior from time to time. I am using Zodias Medium 6.10 right now and it is about perfect for me. Just want another jerkbait rod and have one of them as occasional topwater for small pop x poppers. My Nrx 843 seem a bit too powerful f...
