My Classic GLX 844 is one of the favorites and sensitivity is right up to today's standarts imho ( I own NRX as well ).
Even my classic IMX 843 still in use with no signs of slowing down
Excellent rods.

Re: G. Loomis GLX 782C MBR for jerkbaits
Thanks,
I think 782 is what will work the best for me, I found the old seats measurments and 6.6 models are 1.5" shorter than 7ft, so even if a new ones a tad longer, should be just fine.

Re: G. Loomis GLX 782C MBR for jerkbaits
Thanks,
I have nrx 843, I think it has the same handle as nrx 842, it gives me good idea on what to expect.

G. Loomis GLX 782C MBR for jerkbaits
Looking to add another jerk bait rod, can someone provide any input\real experience with this model?
Reading the handle length on 842 might be a bit longer compared to the "old clasic" models, is this also the case with 6.6 models 782 as well?
Thank you.

Re: Making Conquests Lighter
Thank you. would you mine to tell the exact guides you use and speciffically how many belly guides? Sorry if questions seem simple, but I am not experienced in rod building and planing to try on a guinea pig rod first to get some feel for it before touching my nrx 843. I am guessing you left the ori...

Re: Making Conquests Lighter
that is awesome.
When you swapped the guides on nrx 843, did you install the exact same number of guides and exact same placement as it was with the original recoils? Or did you reduce the number?

conquest 100 hg
It is worth buying it now considering it is a fairly old model or better to wait for an updated model?
I am thinking an updated model may come out next year...
My concern is primarily the old-style fist generation SVS braking system in the current model. Any comments?

Re: New Poison Adrena
I have NRX 843 and old style GLX 844, looking for a longer rod somewhere with power in between these 2 for trigs.
Is 73mh lighter in power than glx 844?
