I have several Chronarch MG 50 reels, and some Quantum and Lew's reels, that need new knobs.
The Chronarchs are riveted, but the others can be removed and replaced.
The knobs that need replacing are soft rubber, and worn.
What can I replace them with that will still be soft, but hold up better?

Have you tried drop shotting with a light sinker and longer leader? I do that when we do have grass, and use an offset hook so I can rig my worm to be weedless.

I have two Gen 2 Premiers, and bought 2 Gen 3's. I sold the Gen 3's and kept the Gen 2's. I never got comfortable with the larger (to me) and higher sitting Gen 3's.
I still use the Gen 2's for reaction baits and topwaters.

I think I understand. Everything's a tradeoff. Finding a happy medium is the secret...sounds a lot like the recipe for a happy life.

The blurb on the TW site for this reels says it's great for really light baits.
Has anyone here fished one yet, and if so, do they throw light stuff well?
