Made well, no "burrs", the bearing in the cage (as usual - a little noisier than oroginal one). Fixed inductor, empty weight 4.79 gr. The end of the axis is made interesting...

Re: Anyone tried DIY spools? $29-$40 BFS spools!

Any long cast type spool for Alphas SV TW 800? I don’t want BFS spool (already have Ray 32mm) but capacity close to SLP works SV 800S spool or 6-8lb mono/fc ~75yds? Hello, Friend! Yesterday I talked about the same with the Chinese about the spool for Tatula 80 (showed above) and asked if they would...

Re: Anyone tried DIY spools? $29-$40 BFS spools!

Nice to know, thank you very much. I was gonna buy SV800s SLP spool but that gonna cost 100 something might as well buy another Alphas 800S. I do have Ray’s spool but that too shallow for what I want it for. I received answer from Chameleon seller: http://ipic.su/img/img7/fs/01.1676637550.png But I...

Thanks for the heads up, useful information. It's unfortunate that the reel seat doesn't seem to hold on to a Daiwa reel feet well?
My pleasure!
I paired these rods with Shimano Metanium 16, Antares 19, Daiwa Steez SV TW, Zillion 21, Tatula 20 SV TW and there is no problem with reel seat.

If you have the rod, what do you use it for? Will pair it with a Chronarch 50Mg \:D/ Hello, Friend! I had "old" and have now "new" version of 2 piece center cut Adrena 1610 M rod. So a "Power Mag-finesse" reel?
Why not? Such "Daiwa Alphas SV 105L", but round reel model. I think its be interesting, paired with ML/M rods.

As the title say, what do you want to see from daiwa in the next few years?
Daiwa Ryoga CT 70 :) with 33 mm boosted spool, no TWS, more compact size that current models round reels. Paint in black, of course.

From the 2 Tatulas, which of the 2 is comparable to the Shimano Metanium MGL?
Hello!
I think, if you looking for reel to compare with Metanium, you must take as minimum Alphas SV TW :)

Re: Daiwa Spool

I don't necessarily want to drop $100 on a spool. Hoping there are more affordable options out there, looking for bass application spool, not BFS. Thanks Hello, Friend! Please, tale a look for chinese DIY (AMO, Rays, Chameleon) spools. For 49-55$ price its a very nice choice. For example: http://ww...
