Re: Megabass MH Texas Rig Rod

How does the X7 Exreme Mission compare to the NRX 893, Nautilus, and Javelin? After getting my Nautilus I got rid of my NRX 893 and have not regretted it for a second. While it was slightly more sensative the XF action was just too fast with too soft of a tip for the backbone and changed from soft ...

Re: Megabass MH Texas Rig Rod

Where did the super bandersnatch go? I don’t have a P3 B-snatch, but I do have the X7 EM and I’d say look no further for the that intended weight range particularly for long casts. To me it was lighter than expected when I first got it; I love the rod. My only other x7 experiences; however were and...

Re: Daiwa JDM Rod users

Sure is a hard rod to find. Like super hard. I’ve read and reread post on the rod. I asked the wife if it’s too much and she said, look at those rod racks and tell me what that budget was again. If you’re looking for the jigga stick, I saw 2 available at Asian portal fishing (I think I have that ri...

Re: I Can't Explain It

Got off to a very late start today and left the house only to get on the water about 1400. Its cold for Florida to me, but the light coming through the blinds said that the sun was doing its job. Anyways, I make it to the boat ramp when the guy coming in said he only had one bite and it was a warmo...

Re: Shimano Loomis Conquest rods

Loomis got some bad press here recently for build quality for good reason. So, let me also show some positive. Conquest 904C has mad GONADS. Here they are on display. This cat hammered my swimbait and then went on a run. I don't know why bass anglers are always so disappointed by the random cat atta...

Re: Daiwa JDM Rod users

Got it Thanks, Daiwa Steez Racing. #2 Question how does it compare to the Megabass Valkryie? Im looking to match up to my IS73 with ZPI spool Thanks in advance looking to try something different. I don’t own any of the Valkyrie rods but own 2 of the racing designs so far and compared to any of my m...

Re: Daiwa JDM Rod users

Thanks. Please give feedback. I’m looking to get the 7’1” version for my birthday next month. I’m ready to pull the trigger. I like the Valkyrie lineup but as Far as top tier megabass goes I’m not sure what’s considered to be at the top. I would like to know how they compare to the racing design in...

Re: Daiwa JDM Rod users

I have not done the comparison yet. While I have a Valk and it is a really fun and effective stick in the 71H iteration, this would likely be considered a mid-tier MB offerering. My humble opinion is they really punched above their weight with the Valkyrie. The steez racing design; however, is daiwa...

No; I'm guessing it's because there's already a thread pointed out above that has addressed this very question in detail.

Re: High end Jdm cranking rod help

So... I had to do it. I ended up going with the Sedition White Falcon 7 SDC-700MG-FTW. I don't know anyone who has one, and don't mind being the guinea pig for something that might be awesome. Thanks to all of the TT members who gave suggestions, and helped me make a decision on at least one new cr...
