Re: Jerkbait Rod/all around Rod
Not sure if it is available in the EU, but the OG Tatula 6101MXB is great rod for what you are looking for. If it's not, the NRX 852c is a great choice, and can also be used for light contact stuff too.

TDZ guys...
I have a TDZ Type R+. As we all know Daiwa goofed it up with the paint on all TDZ variants. I paid about $230 for my Type R+, and it has a small blemish as you'd expect. I have been going over the idea of cerakoting it in a chameleon colorway. This would be about $150. I would send it to Ian afterwa...

Re: Cerakote
His shop is only 5 miles from me. I'd like to strip it myself, coat it, then send it to Ian to work his magic (and put it back together )

Re: Cerakote
I'm not sure on the AU to US conversion, but my local Cerakote armorer quoted me 150$. That doesn't seem to bad for chameleon which is three layers. Problem is I'm not to keen on taking apart reels myself.

Re: Dobyns 742c vs 742sf HP
Interesting. I understand the spinning has a full-cork handle, so it probably balances better. I feel like my 742c may be a little tip-heavy which is unusual because of Dobyns well-known balance. What do you throw on the spinning compared to the casting?
