How can a DRY Carbontex Drag washer be smoother then a Greased one ????? Anyone that has carbon drags and catchs large fish should use cals or an equal good drag grease. If you are just looking for max locked down drag, then use them dry, they will still slip beter than other types when dry, but when greased they always slip smooth. i ALWAYS use dry c-tex.....hundreds o...

On all reels that I take apart I make sure that I mark the pinion and the main gear as how they matched up, so when I'm done cleaning them they go back in the same tooth to tooth as they came out.

unless you're in a time crunch, i'd take measurements of both parts and see if there's an equivalent in a USDM model. the CTE300 drive shaft *might* be the same dimensions. i'd reach out to Bantam1 or call their customer service line and see if one of the reel techs can measure out that part for co...

Daiwa needs a 4.9:1 and a 5.4:1 on the Lexa !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know it's a Quantum but look at the EXO PT in 200 and 300, the 200 has a 5.3:1 gears, Dual Anti - Rev Pawls and is only 6.8oz and 10 B.Bearings, the 300 is 7.5oz, Dual Anti-Rev Pawls and has 6 Bearings and comes with a Power Handle....
