Is anyone using a DIY BFS spool to cast down to a 1/16 for trout? Or am I better off going Scorpion BFS? I thought the sv105 was the same as I wanna say I read somewhere that the original Alphas reels could take Tdz spools and thought they were the same?

Thanks! It's back together and in the process I learned a lot about reels, so thats a win.

However, the bad news is that the noise I was originally trying to chase down is still there, so the reel is going off for service in any case.
