Re: New Megabass Destroyers

Have these been posted anywhere yet? Curious of the individual specs for the models that will be released An Instagram post today indicated that the F5-70X and F6-69X will be the models with the carbon grip. I’m really digging the looks of those carbon grips. Is there a full list of models anywhere...

Re: New Megabass Destroyers

Really hoping the coronavirus doesn't cause a delay in the release of these rods. Sounds like its taking a severe toll on Asian production Looks like its going to take a toll world wide, its just a matter of time. Be safe out there and try to avoid others.... This sucks I work in NYC and they just ...

Re: New Megabass Destroyers

I can confirm that select new models will be available in the US. Trying to nail down a hard release date. I will also post the models selected when I am cleared to do so. Great news! Hopefully the Dark Sleeper is amongst the models that will be available. I'm assuming that you can pre-order from t...

Re: New Megabass Destroyers

Alright ladies and gents. These must be them. I’m digging the handle nut personally. And the carbon grip models gave me a bit of a megab...r. Even the handles are nicer this way. Can’t wait to read more about the actually technology. The previous (current) new destroyer bummed me out (please don’t ...

They won’t be getting my money, the new destroyers look cheap IMO... Oh well, I need to cut back on my fishing purchases anyway!
I will say that lock nut doesn’t do much for me. However, I really like the nut on the revoltage rods they showed

Re: New Megabass Destroyers

If the “dark sleeper” model is indeed intended for the dark sleeper then I’m thinking it will be a nice tube rod as well. May have to get one....

Re: Best Megabass Topwater rods?

I’m no megabass expert, but I have an older destroyer cyclone which I absolutely love for top waters and other hard baits. I’d think the new version, or the super cyclone for larger offerings would be a good choice

Re: Megabass Cyclone

Have you gotten to put some time in with the super cyclone? I have an older regular cyclone which I absolutely love so a slightly beefed up model really peaks my interest. Only real hang up for me is that I have a bandersnatch that I use for similar applications. Of course it lends itself more towa...

Re: Megabass Cyclone

I hope we see the new Super Cyclone Carbon Head soon... ours are on order. It looks like an interesting rod for sure, along with a few other new CH models. I'm looking forward to using some of them this summer. The Hein however is spectacular all the way around and pairs well with an IS. We will ha...

No love for the newer Megabass Tomahawks?

So I've been thinking about grabbing a f4-71t but there isn't a lot of info about it out there. Are the newer tomahawks not as well regarded as the the old gta and gtz rods? Just seems like the current series doesn't have a lot of hype behind it, though I love glass and the full grip. If don't go wi...
