Sunline Sniper FC in #16 is the diameter of typical #12 lines.

Re: Which Line Type for Soft Body Swim Baits?
Braid for baits that size.
1. I like low stretch line for a 6/0 hook to get that big thing through a lip - even an Owner Beast.
2. Especially when they hit it after a loooooong cast.
Nylon and FC are too stretchy.

What style or catalog # are you guys useing on the VMC's?Are these basiclly what Lucky Craft is useing? I'll be putting them on crank baits and traps. LC uses VMC made, Daiichi sharpened hooks. http://www.landbigfish.com/showcase.cfm?PID=4522 I like Owner and Gamakatsu for standard treble replaceme...

Re: Crankbait setup
These guys have covered the topic pretty well. If you are fishing 10-25 ft, you'd be best served with a low gear ratio reel on a deep diver type rod.

Re: Cumara vs. Champion
Gary should make a 737 or something, don't know what the correct number would be, but a rod that is in between the 734 and 735. Like a mag-heavy. Then I wouldn't have this problem! Fat-G, I'm not sure if you are aware of this but here it goes. "The Tackle Tour Motto is: Buy Both of Them" :big grin:...

Re: Differences in Alphas reels
Thanks Tokugawa. I don't want to sound boring but 16g exactly or you were unable to measure it more accurately. Is just because 16 can be 15.5 or 16.4 which could put it in the same level as a Alphas R edition or a Sol spool. :-k My scale does not measure 10ths of grams. However, I think at that po...

Re: Sunline Super Natural.
I have some Super Natural destined for a jerkbait/topwater/spinnerbait combo once the rod is done. Just fondling the Super Natural it feels like it will perform like YZH.
I still use YZH for cranking, and FC Sniper for contact baits.
