Re: P5 super destroyer
Anyone have a Phase 3 Super Destroyer to compare with this new P5 SD? Regret selling my P3SD everyday as it was an amazing punch shotting rod and dock skipping jig rod. I was going to try to find 2 of these this winter but the P5 has me interested. I had a JDM New Destroyer Super Destroyer. Never go...

Re: Looking To Pick Up A Boat
I was in your position last winter/spring. Searched for months and my budget went from 10k to 15k and finally found one I really like at 21k. I ended up with a Champion 206 Elite and believe that was the best value for my money. If you look hard you can find some boats around your price range. Even ...

Re: F5-75X7 Extreme Mission
3/8 - 1/2 is the sweet spot. At 3/4 is where I start thinking. At 1oz I find it a little scary whip casting since the X7EM has a soft tip. Plenty of backbone power though. It's an excellent moderate cover weightless senko rod too IMO.

Re: '19 Steez ct sv tw
I will be using 10lb sniper fc tossing 1/4 most of the time. Plenty of lines left. Impressive spool IMO. Can cast down to 1/8 as well as some shallow spools yet out distance them in 1/4 - 3/8. I'm able to cast 1/16 with a Gulp minnow. Total weight was .09 oz (2.5g) but need the right rod for accurac...

Re: KTF KAHEN Spool For Steez
I have yet to actually fish with the spool but testing in the steez tw it is very nice. My only complaints is the spool cost more than ZPIs but gotta pay to play.

2018 Winter Projects
My issue is I never finish a project before starting on another one or two. Most reels still missing a few parts to be completed but no more money. Here's all I have been doing this brutal winter in MN. https://i.postimg.cc/SR3vkJt0/20181109-210751.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/1RjTpjRW/20181109-210556.j...

Steez CT 700XHL
Can't complain at all. It's a Steez and it feels smaller than a Pixy in hand. Clicking drag is a bonus which I think all finesse baitcaster should have came with one anyways. Quick little test but at 1/8 total weight CT edged out PXR. Too cold to collect any data as it's under 10 degrees F. https://...

Light Trig and weightless senkos. It's a very nice reel to skip senkos under docks.

Re: Megabass Destroyer Javelin?
Probably more tip heavy than a 893c but then again it is heavier and stronger. To be honest I didn't feel like the rod was too stressed launching Arashi 18 to my surprise. I did feel that way with my Nautilus. However for cranks 18-20+ I use my Phase 3 seven eleven. I was just testing the Javelins l...

Re: Megabass Destroyer Javelin?
Javelin would be a 893.7 IMO  but with a med fast taper unlike the NRX. Yes it is a versatile rod that can do Texas rig, senkos, chatterbaits, and deep diving 1oz cranks. I use mine mostly for launching swim jigs and chatterbaits to cover water. Tried some Arashi 18ft divers and handles it fine...
