Yep, it's a dandy for sure. I think I've used it for just about everything at some point, but I like throwing Senkos and 3/8 oz. traps on it best. I have a Scorpion XT 1001 on mine. One rod I will never par ways with!

It really all depends on how you like the tip of your rod to behave. I prefer the KLX fast or mod. fast opposed to the Xtra fast action of my Powell Max for most everything.

I'm gonna have to try a pair of the standard AIRs in my T3 MX. Wonder if the ZRs are any good. Only 16 bucks, about the same price as a set of 5's.
