well, i don't know about you, but lure savers work great for me. i caught a 10.11 lb lmb (PB) the other day with a pointer 100 dd equiped w/ lure savers (12 lb) and no hooks came off... although i did lose a pointer... threw it 30 yards out and the line snapped, though it would float, but i remember...

i'd like to fill my baitcaster with some new 12lb line and i was just wondering what line should i use? i'm probably gonna use mono. i'm thinking of cajun line... anyone used cajun line (the red line)? i'm using it for all uses: spinnerbaiting, jerkbaiting, cranking, and even throwing some plastics.
