Re: Roboworm Ned Worms
I only bought 1 pack of the robo nedworms and haven't even tried them out yet because the zman's are still in tact after many fish hahah I'm not sure if the robo nedworms have salt in them or not, but I think once the salt disappears after some time in the water, they should float, unless it's becau...

Re: Bantam MGL Who has their hands on one?
Has anyone tried casting lighter lure's on this yet like weightless senko's, 1/4 ounce plugs? I'm debating whether to pick up another Chronarch or Bantam. Probably depends on the rod/balance/etc. that you are looking for. I was going to buy a second Chronarch if the Bantam had 8 bearings total. I k...

Re: GYCB Fat Ika?
What size hook are you all using? I'm currently using a 3/0 EWG, but I'm not sure if that's too small?

Re: LT versus Ci4+FB
How are these Tatula LT's working out for those that own them? Looking to get a new trout reel and after having many stradics I am done with them and thinking either the Lt or a ballistic in the 100 size. Any feedback? I picked up my Tatula LT about two months ago and have taken it out on the water...

Re: Best braid for spinning reels?
I always tie on a fluoro leader, and haven't had issues with power pro connection knot breaking. It usually only breaks off at the lure/hook when I get snagged. I've never had any issues with castability with any type of braid I've used since the line diameter is thin. I'd recommend anywhere from 10...

Re: Best braid for spinning reels?
I'm on my second season with just the 15 pound power pro and it's still going strong. Surprised the color hasn't faded much either.

Re: Casting braid
You should take look at Daiwa Samurai or J Braid as well, I hear really good things about those especially Samurai.

Re: Casting braid
If you're looking for red colored braid for your spinning reel, you can get the regular Power Pro in 10 or 15 lb test in the vermillon red. I have the 15 pound spooled up on my Daiwa Tatula LT. Sufix 832 braid has a white colored line, so you might also want to check that out. For your Froggin set u...

Re: Braid to flouro questions
I sometimes do have to re-tie the palomar knot though when I'm cinching it down because I do not wet the line enough and it burns the line. Just take your time when tying knots, rather than having to waste more time re-tying it like me

Re: Braid to flouro questions
Just like inspectorlee mentioned. When tying the palomar knot, make sure the two lines are parallel to each other before tying the overhand knot. I haven't had issues with the palomar knot breaking since I do drop shot a lot and use the palomar knot. The other knot I use is the trilene knot. For lea...

Re: Jackall or Robo plastics for drop shot
If I HAD to choose one, it would be roboworms. Most of my drop shot bites have come on roboworms; if they're not liking the straight tail worm I'll switch over to the alive shad and vice versa. I've tried those FX Sculpins and have gotten bites, but I've gotten more bites on the straight tail. I've ...
