Re: ZPI back to making spools?
About time. You looked at their page, and its like seeing an Aliexpress ad, what the hell. Seing them go back to what they're known for is great news, but their stuff better be made in Japan, and if it isn't, and they're selling Chinese made handles for $120 :laugh1: I kinda don't trust a brand that...

Re: Are you using any Chinese manufactured reels?
Chinese reels from Aliexpress are popular in my country due to price. I have experience with Tsurinoya and Ecooda. Tsu is probably the most popular here and most of their models are decent budget reels. Same experience with Ecooda, they are also decent reels. Also do not need to overthink it, high ...

Are you using any Chinese manufactured reels?
Any of you using Chinese manufactured reels like the Piscifun, Loongze, Googan and all of these noname brands? What's your experience with them?

Re: New Tatula is $100
What's the issue with the plastic top piece? If its made like the Zillion, the metal frame will be underneath it. All that plastic piece does is help you in cold weather.

Re: New Tatula is $100
$100 is a good price for a Tat. Anything over $119.99 is a no thanks from me, and this goes to all Tats made.

Most likely will buy one just to have a DC reel since i've sold mines. And i also like how the modes adjustment is outside. About time they did it.

Re: 24 Daiwa Airtiy SF Lightest reel From Daiwa ever
Do we really need to go under 5oz? I don't exactly want to use something that feels like a plastic toy, and some weight is needed to balance most rods. think these light reels are designed with super finesse applications in mind. in Japan it is common to use 4lb and under floro line even for bass f...

Re: 2024 2 pcs X10 and additional models of P5 destroyer
https://www.megabass.co.jp/site/products/destroyer_p5_f2st-73x/ ;) If you into BFS, this 3 pieces P5 looks really unique. It has an EX fast tip that become regular when you fight the fish. It looks like smallmouth killer \:D/ I might finally give in and buy a Megabass. I am into bfs, and the rod do...

Re: 2024 2 pcs X10 and additional models of P5 destroyer
I am all about multi piece, that's all i use these days, but i want it in three piece like the triza or even better, four piece. If they make a 4 piece model i am ordering one the day they go on sale. Its pretty much the one thing i want from megabass.

Re: All new steez sv tw
At this price point what they should have is a carbon handle. How is it that some alphas air stream, px68 or the alphas type r had a carbon handle, but not Daiwa's flagship that approach 1k usd? This applies to shimano as well, but that company has been using nothing but ugly handles made out of met...

Re: Do you still use Boca Bearings inside your reels?
These ones I find extremely good, silent compared to others I've bought. I tested every one for the last 4 batches and not one dud... I use these ceramic hybrids on all my internal bearings inside a steez. Did the whole 2023 with them, and its beed excellent, and i've never had a reel that feels th...

Re: All new steez sv tw
the steez ex had a magnesium side plate? that is not something i knew, and its a shame they're not magnesium on Daiwa's flagship reel. And i don't even care if it makes no difference in rigidity, and the fact that it'll add a couple of grams, i just want it, its what flagship should be from both com...

Re: 21 Zillion TW - larger capacity spool suggestions?
I got rid of my sv boost spool inside the zillion since i got the reel in 21. Large capacity spools i've been using on this reel is the rcs1016 from the t3, the magz spool with the tapered inductor from the megabass orochi cover hacking and a couple of the zpi rc-001 spools. All performing perfectly...

Re: Major Craft Issue
I kinda knew this would happen when they released those cheapo looking rods for the US market. Its like ZPI releasing those garbage reels, chinese hooks and some trash glasses, trying to find a niche in the US.
